Childish Gambino’s ‘Awaken, My Love!’ with Dreamflower Collective

We’re bringing Sheffield’s Dreamflower Collective back after a sold-out show in April, for an intimate, orchestral performance of Childish Gambino’s ‘Awaken, My Love!’.

Expect a live rendition of all your Childish Gambino favourites from ‘Redbone and ‘Me and Your Mama’ to ‘Terrified’ and ‘Baby Boy’.

Formed in 2018 through a shared love for jazz, neo soul, hip-hop and funk, Sheffield’s Dreamflower Collective have spent the last few years both writing their own compositions and reworking their favourite music. In their live album re-interpretations, the

ensemble take a cinematic approach to bring new life to contemporary albums, with an electrifying mix of solos, breakdowns and improvisations.

Influenced by the likes of Erykah Badu, Stevie Wonder, Hiatus Kaiyote and Tom Misch, expect this show to be roadblock.
